I applied for a job online through the Museum's portal. I received a request for a video interview a few weeks later because I did not live locally. The interview started on time and I was asked the standard "Tell us about yourself"-type questions. The interview was unnaturally short. I was asked only 3-4 questions. If I had not had a few questions for them, the interview would not have lasted more than 15 minutes. Interviewers seemed uninterested in actually talking to me. Despite my sending follow-up thank you emails to both individuals who interviewed me, I literally never heard back from them, not even an auto-generated email saying that I did not get the job. Unacceptable. If you interview someone, you reach out and tell them about the status of the position, period.
