Candidatei-me por indicação de um funcionário. O processo levou 2 meses. Fui entrevistado pela PitchBook (Seattle, WA) em abr. de 2018
Entrevista
Personally, I found the interviews a bit odd. There were two interviews with two people from the team in each, they asked the same questions in both rounds (not sure why) or if it was to track differences in the answers. I found one of the leads demeaning and pretentious, as I answered the question in the same manner in the previous round (20 minutes prior) and the interviewers had said "excellent answer", he was less than thrilled and went further into elaborating why my answer was incorrect. They focused more on asking out of college finance questions rather than focusing on technical skills. Similar to many folks, I got the generic rejection without much feedback.
I am that you had a negative experience while interviewing at PitchBook. Our intent is to create a great candidate experience, and it seems we missed the mark here. We will definitely incorporate your feedback as we evolve our interview process.

Had a phone interview then two face to face interviews. Phone interviews was primarily STAR based questions then the face to face interview became more technical - asked questions regarding finance, research, private equity data

Initial contact with recruiter via email, then a phone call. If you seem like a good fit, they will bring you in for an interview if you are local or do a skype/zoom interview. If you do well during that main interview, they will ask you to write about a particular topic. Then they make a decision.
