The interview process with progressive lasted nearly a month over the course of 4 different rounds. First was with internal recruiter. Second was with non-technical hiring manager and architect. Third was with two developers that had half the experience as myself and a third person that was not on invite. Fourth round was with an additional hiring manager. Was told in third round that most of the developers were contractors. Was told in fourth round that they typically hire friends and family only. Received no offer. First hiring manager didn't seem to happy that I had a lot of experience.

phone interview, lousy connection with speaker phones. in person interview included video interview with managers in different state not even working in same functional area. HR person was not available . ridiculous questions with no relation to actual job.
