Interviews can be an intensive and sometimes long process, but it seems they are making an effort to move people through the stages at a more reasonable pace. You will likely have at least one panel interview where you meet with multiple people at once, and will likely have a few rounds each time you're on site.

Many many rounds of interviews and three visits to their unpleasant office which is a really scary walk from the subway station in a bleak part of Queens. Having met about a dozen people I was asked to put together a presentation based on data they sent me. So I did. As part of my presentation, and to encourage thoughtful discussion, I very gently questioned one assumption about their approach. That did NOT go down well and it became clear that differing perspectives weren’t particularly welcome, which is ironic given their supposed preoccupation with diversity. Here’s the best part. Didn’t get the job, which is understandable… I may not have been the best candidate for the position, so that’s not what bothers me. What I found frustrating was that the position was later removed from their careers page, and I learned they had decided not to hire anyone at all. In hindsight, the entire process felt like a waste of time and energy for a role that they didn’t even fill.
