Applied online in early June. I have a machine learning background but have some experience in C/C++ so I thought I would try my chances anyways.
Had a phone interview where I was asked some C/C++ basics, which was quite straightforward. Then I was asked in to interview on the San Diego campus (had about 5 interviews with different members of the GPU engineering team). Overall, smooth easygoing experience with great follow-up on their part.

Basic screening interview asking about my basic information and what I did for my coursework. They also explained what they are working on and what they expect of the position.

Some basics on C++ including definitions and micros
first round phone interview through Microsoft team, need to turn on the camera. nothing about background or any other questions. skill test in C++ only, including basic knowledge and algorithm coding.

Entrevista
There was a very brief introduction of the role and they proceeded to technical questions. The virtual interview consisted of 5 different stages with 5 different engineer staffs. After each stage, you get 15 minutes of break.
