I applied online and spoke with a recruiter that was extremely rude. I am a believer that I shouldn't say anything if I don't have anything positive to say but the recruiter was truly rude. After she asked me several questions regarding my fit for the role, she did not allow me to ask any questions and asked me to send them to her via email instead. While I provided my responses, she would often make weird faces and sounds. After the conversation, it was clear that this recruiter was not having a good day. I provided my questions via email, but she never responded. A few days later, she simply emailed me stating "we will proceed with a different candidate".

The interview process for the Account Manager role with Quantum Metric was fairly straightforward. I had 6 total calls, all of which were 1:1 and 30 minutes long (calls were with the recruiter, two hiring managers, the director, the COO and ended with the CEO). The interviews felt more like conversations where I could showcase the skills I'd bring to the role while also learning about the organization. Every single person I spoke with was kind, open, smart and personable - the kind of people I'd want to work with.
