I initially had a virtual interview with the Head of Business Development, Chris Crouch, and right after, I was transferred to the marketing team to speak with them. Later, I received a phone call inviting me to meet the CEO, Mark Probst, to discuss salary and company culture. During our meeting, they emphasized the company’s strong culture and low turnover rate. When asked about salary, I provided a well-researched number based on the role and the local market. However, when I asked about their salary range, they avoided answering. Afterward, I spent time with the marketing team, was given a tour of the office, and was told they needed to consult HR before following up within 48 hours. Despite their commitment to update me, I never heard back. I sent follow up emails twice with Chris Crouch and once with Mark Probst, but I received no response. I later noticed on LinkedIn that they had hired someone else. The lack of communication and professionalism made for a disappointing experience and reflected poorly on the company.
