    1 hour long phone interview process whereby I had been asked to describe myself and why the sidden change of career or industry as I studied for something completely different. More like a persuasive insurance agent job.

    Went there for a Admin interview, but the person spent 1 hour trying to get me to apply for the management trainee position (selling insurance). Sales pitch even though it was not the position I had applied for. Felt quite cheated + a waste of my time. Advice to applicants: check the profile of the company before going down, unless you don’t mind the possibility of people giving you a sales talk to join the insurance industry (not even related at all). They had advertised on jobstreet on company confidential so i went. Needless to say, will be avoiding such situations in the future.

    Arrived at the office and there was no receptionist and/or anyone else available to greet/receive you. Thereafter, I tried to find someone I could talk to (and ventured into one of the walkway as advised by the interviewer via phone call) but was immediately scolded by one of the staff (I believe he is one of the team lead) in less then 5mins - "Hello hello, who are you looking for! Wait outside!!!"

    Anyway, there goes my 1st impression of the organisation and everything was haywired!

    1. Took a DISC assessment test
    2. Fill up the interview form
    3. Interviewed by another lady staff (more professional in comparison to the guy staff).

    Outcome: Withdrew my candidacy immediately after the interview session due to extremely bad impression from the guy staff.

    Waited for more than 30 minutes just for first interview - director was having a meeting that overran. Went through one interview and the next was contract signing.
