I had a 20 minute (or so) phone interview with Suyan Soni. She asked about prior experience, all the normal stuff. She also asked what my GPA was. It's been a while since I was in school so I had to guess. I offered to send her my transcripts but she declined. Then we met in person at a local coffee shop. I thought it was a little strange, I've never had an interview anywhere but the place of business before but I figured maybe the campus wasn't open at that time so she couldn't do it there. It was a 45 minute interview. She didn't ask me much about myself or offer any information about the program, it was all her giving me scenarios of something that could happen on the job and asking how I would handle the situation. I've had interviewers do that before so it wasn't unusual, but in her case, she's looking for a specific answer. It was more like a quiz instead of a "What would you do?" And she kept dragging it out and pushing until she got the answer she wanted. Eventually I would have to say "I don't know." And she would give me the answer. Which was usually something that, unless you worked there and knew the ins and outs of how the program worked, it would be hard to come up with. She seemed like a nice person but controlling, and would be a micromanager.

I interviewed with the director of Ready Study Go at a local coffee shop. The interview itself was laid back and not too bad. Some questions to learn more about me and some situational ones.
