Candidatei-me por meio de recrutador(a). Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Revolut (New York, NY).
Entrevista
The recruiter was well prepared and could answer all my questions.
Didn't like the questions from tech stuff (see interview questions part).
As a response you'll get some generic answer. ( our team is not ready to move forward ) without any details.
Two points:
* tech questions sometimes tend to be a bit philosophical and is not fair to put a Recruiter to try and capture the answers through the line as well as it's a bit hard for me to capture the question
* give visibility as it's a matter of maturity for a company like yours

Candidatei-me por meio de recrutador(a). Fui entrevistado pela Revolut em out. de 2019
Entrevista
There was a first round of interview with some basic questions from non-technical recruiter with predefined answers, I passed it.
Then they sent me the time consuming home task and I rejected to do it and accepted an offer from another company.
After a while they contacted me again and I gave a try to do a home task, the task wasn't related to the area of responsibility, I solved all problems correctly but received a reply that some things could be done in a different way though my solution is correct.
I could solve it during 3 days but I had only a half of a day and now I know that I will never do home tasks for any sort of company, that's time consuming and doesn't pay off because someone will prefer another solution. E.g. I used cursor loop because it came first to my mind when the interviewer preferred to use common table query because it's more readable and API returned 5xx error codes instead of 4xx. These are the tasks for Data Scientist position.
