The hiring doesn’t happen for a specific position but each interviewer rates your level that they see you at, and they place you into their hiring pool where managers can pick someone with expected skills and qualifications, as well as internally determined level.
Even though everything went well, I matched with a manager and we clicked and was taken to the offer stage, once they were able to negotiate benefits which was a bit late down the line, they were unable to offer something up to my expectations and kind of ghosted me saying they couldn’t yet offer something in my location (which they were hiring for in). It was an exhausting and difficult process with about 8 interviews with managers and designers, there was at least 8 more with the assigned recruiter. As much as talking to the recruiter is helpful, it also was clear that they try to learn about your salary at each step it was a bit difficult to discuss without any information from their end. This felt a bit odd, considering the difficulty and time dedication required in the process.
Definitely the teams are ambitious and do great work, however it wouldn’t feel like the right match even if I received an offer. I think I got off lucky.

Entrevista
HR screening > Problem solving session > Product Skills session > Bar Raiser interview. Overall good pricess, with good guidance provided before each interview and flexibility to choose interview times and fit your own schedule.
Started with a 15min screening with the recruiter, they explain the hiring process and the next step was a problem solving interview. Total of 4 steps finishing with a bar raiser interview with the CPO

They gave a high level prompt about an investment product that stopped growing. You had to ask for data and explain your thought process. The difficulty is that I had to be very specific with the datapoints asked.
