I interviewed with the hiring manager, who showed no emotion and asked a series of carefully written questions, then took notes on my responses. It was very sterile. I believe this is to ensure fairness between all candidates so they all receive the same experience... which apparently means do not display any emotion at all whatsoever. When the hiring manager asked a follow up about my response, she later apologized for going off track. Felt like an ai could have conducted that interview.

Got in touch with the team lead that walked me through the role. From there I talked with two recruiters and eventually met with the team lead again. Met with the director and moved on to the office tour followed by 4 interviews. At the time, the pandemic still had everything remote, so this was all done virtually. One thing here was the shear amount of time that went by during all of this. From start to finish it was 3 months. I never thought at any point I did poorly, but when I wasn't offered a position, there was zero feedback.
