Applied online and went through a phone-screening with a recruiter, followed by an invitation to a face-to-face interview with the accounting and business operations team.
At the time (2017) the accounting team needed the P2P and CM basics - and asked questions to gauge my expertise in the topics. This part of the interview was reasonable.
However, upon meeting the business operations team (who were a JPM and Deutsche Bank alum - potentially even on-site watchers placed there by the investors), my experience was quite different. The two of them furiously wrote down nearly everything I said while asking questions about platforms and how would scale operations, etc. I left strongly feeling I just gave away an hour of valuable free consulting.
To add insult to injury, I paid my own way to NYC via Amtrak, fully expecting at least an offer to be reimbursed (silly me for believing in professional curtesy)... no mention, zero, zip! After that, all went silent. So, free consulting and expenses!!
Two others from my network also interviewed there for the role - both left with a similar experience.
Beware and be wary of Roivant’s hiring ethics. I suspect if they really want you, they’ll be nice and accommodating - otherwise expect to be used and disposed.
