Terrible communication from recruiter. 2 week breaks between emails. No direction/ expectations given.
1st round - phone screen with recruiter.
2nd round - phone screen with hiring manager
3rd round - in person interview loop with 5 team members.
In-person interview loop was OK. Each team member asked about relative experience and deep dived into analysis approach and result, etc.
I followed up with recruiter 1 week after the in-person interview. 2 weeks later (3 weeks after the interview) recruiter emailed asking my availability for a phone call to update me on the status. I provided my my availability - again no response.
I followed up 2 weeks later. Recruiter apologized, and we scheduled time to speak on the phone. Recruiter did not call during scheduled time, and once again has not responded to emails.
I understand we all get busy. But not responding to candidate for a Sr. Manager/ Director level position after I spent time preparing for interviews and meeting with the team has left a sour taste in my mouth.
I google recruiter's name out of curiosity. First thing that came up is recruiter's criminal record ( I will leave the colorful details out). This is all I needed to know about Roku's overall judgement in recruiting.
