Horrible recruitment experience: After I was offered a position, I made my recruiter aware of a trip I had planned in advance to visit my family overseas where I am from (whom I had not been able to visit in almost FOUR YEARS due to the pandemic). I told recruitment I was willing to shorten or even postpone this trip, was open to suggestions and willing to be flexible. The offer was immediately rescinded due to “omission or misrepresentation of information during the application and/or interview process.” There was no conversation, just an abrupt snuffing—I’ve never experienced anything like it. To say that my experience was a disappointment would be an understatement.
