HA hiring process? There was no hiring process. I applied for Sears on Tuesday October 4, 2011 and received a call from a lady named Brenda around 7:30 p.m. She asked if I would be willing to come in for an interview on Friday at 2:30. I said most definitely. So Friday rolls around and I went to my interview. I arrived 10min early and went directly to the HR room. Once I got there I heard someone else being interviewed so I waited patiently until they were done. Once their interview was done I popped my head in the ladies office and said "Hi, I'm so and so here for an interview." The lady just looked at me like I was an idiot and said "Ok???" I just stood there and then she said "Who are you interviewing with?" I said "Brenda" She goes "Ohhhh, well Brenda called off sick today and I have to go on lunch now because I haven't had lunch all day and I have other people coming in at 3:00 for interviews." I was like "Ok?" She says "You can just have a seat I'll find someone to interview you" I could hear her page two different people "Hey I have someone here for an interview, would you want to interview them?" Both people answered "Nope!" So then she came back into the room I was in and said "Someone will be with you shortly." and she just walked out to go to lunch. I sat there for another 5 min and then I just said forget it and I walked out. No one even came into the room to interview me. WHAT A HORRIBLE IMPRESSION AND A HORRIBLE ENVIRONMENT TO WORK FOR! COMPLETE JOKE!!!
