Onsite interview -- (technical) At this final stage I was asked to talk about - my past experiences and projects that I've done - things that I'm most proud of - what I've been doing since I finished my studies, to date. - and finally the problem solving session, which was more like a case study discussion. The technical interview was conducted by one of the senior consultants that has similar skillsets to the candidate. Questions that they asked also differs from one candidate to another, I guess, since the most of the questions that the interviewer asked me were based on the things that I wrote in my resume.

Applied online. Passed the initial HR phone screen and was invited onsite for a face-to-face HR interview. Usual behavioural style interview with HR lady. Office was oddly empty. HR lady explained that Sevian employees are pushed out of their comfort zones, had to attend weekly after hours training and catch-ups, and toast-masters. Sounded like a hoity toity body shop. Played along and was offered a second interview with the GM the following week. Returned the next week and was asked more technical questions from the GM. The technical questions involved SQL. More specifically how to represent a hierarchical dataset. This was strange as the GM was not aware of the hierarchical support in modern databases. After struggling to implement a hierarchical dataset and count child nodes, and the GM not being helpful (as an experienced GM and interviewer should be), the interview concluded shortly after. Up until this point, I was updated during the selection process. Then nothing. After the last interview, there was no follow-up nor feedback. I called once or twice and left messages, but no calls were returned. This says the most of a company. Sad, because the HR lady seemed so nice.
