Same week second technical round scheduled with US team and manager. Third round scheduled with India Infosec Director. HR contacts me and explains me the salary structure and tells me that I am selected. I held an offer already and told them the number I want as my salary and HR says that she will work on it. One week passes, she comes back tells me that they are discussing internally. After one more week, she comes back saying that my Job designation would be different and my variable pay would be reduced but they can pay the base salary which I was asking. One more week passes, HR comes back and tells me that they cannot offer me the salary I am asking as base pay and they can offer me the CTC equal to my base pay. I say no, not going to work. HR takes one more week and comes back with they can offer me less than my holding offer. I declined. BAD HR PROCESS. TOTAL WASTE OF CANDIDATE'S TIME.
