Slalom held a local gathering that I was invited to. I have a lot of friends that work at Slalom so it was an opportunity to see them and understand what they like about the company. I wasn't looking for a change at the time. I spoke to a recruiter during the event and we continued to talk after the event. He was respectful and very friendly as was everyone else I met at Slalom. There seems to be a very positive culture that drew me into the company. Everyone likes the work and they spoke highly of their co-workers and their future at Slalom. I was hooked after speaking to a few people and thinking about all that I was missing at my current company and how Slalom could fill those gaps.
