1. Initial Phone Screen 2. On-Site Interview (4 people) 3. Reference Checks, Follow ups to be transparent about the process - The initial phone call with Head of TA (15 minutes) consisted of initial questions about my experience, career goal and knowledge of SmartRecruiters. It's important to prepare set of questions to have a two-way conversation. - 3 interviews with Sales folks, very informal, delved deeper about my background, reason for wanting to go into sales and specifically SmartRecruiters. Last interview was with the VP of Sales, very casual one walking around the block. - Very fast reference checks and transparency with the follow up process

Sent an email to the Recruiter. Had a 1 hour phone screen interview. Was asked to come in and meet 3 people on the first day - CMO, Demand Gen and Product Marketing for 1 hour each. Next, was sent assessments to check aptitude and ability. Finally, was asked to come back in for another onsite - met the CMO again and the Head Of Talent. Background check, Reference check took no more than 2 days and was made an offer.

1. Online Application. I applied to PM through their own site. Quick set-up and upload of email. 2. I got an email from the recruiter to set-up a phone interview just three days after I applied. 3. On Phone interview. Recruiter was friendly. He went through my resume. Just felt a little bit strange how many questions he asked about my current job. It felt a little bit investigative. For example: "What is the current retention rate on your product", "how do you brainstorm new ideas with your team?", "what is the average revenue forecast for product optimizations"? It made me feel uncomfortable, but he replied after 2 days saying that I had to be interviewed by the team. 4. On-site interview. I came prepare but actually just two people interviewed me ( I was expecting more people). Their roles weren't very clear. The questions were extremely speculative. I felt I was part of a "research group". Again I was asked more in-depth questions about my current job (which is by the way in the same industry - which led me to think that this wasn't a genuine interview). It was clear to me that they weren't not really interviewing me for a position. I hope companies do not engage in similar practices of doing "research" on people's time and effort. It's abusive.

Phone screen with Recruiter, two phone Interviews, onsite Interview with most of leadership team. Initial phone screen to review resume and gauge interest. Phone interview with would be direct manager, followed by interview with Sr. Leadership phone interview. Travel to HQ in San Francisco for interviews with 3 members of the leadership team, as well as a would be peer. Very direct questions from all interviewers, designed to understand your motivations, skills, and decision making skills. Very honest feedback from all interviewers.

Great communication throughout the interview process. The speed of going through the interviews was also very fast (perhaps due to fitting things in between Thanksgiving and December holidays). The team was awesome, and I felt really good about the impression and insight I was given of the company. They're clearly using their own platform to its full potential!

The interview process was quick but through, professional but not uncomfortable, and overall a positive experience. The Head of Recruiting was quick and investigative with his questions which I appreciated because it showed he understood my role. In my experience the person on the other end of the phone sounds automated and uninterested so he was a refreshing experience. After the initial phone interview, I was invited to come back to the office and meet with 3 sets of employees which was really impressive because it showed a vast interest in hiring the right person to support the entire office. My last interview was with the CEO which I can honestly say was a unique experience. He was mild-mannered, professional and friendly. He asked me important questions about me as a person and also my skills. He was really engaging and I felt like he was trying to get to know me.

SmartRecruiters says that the entire hire process should take no more than 2 weeks, which sounded attractive to me as I'm still in process with some companies for 2+ months! I applied the Friday before Labor Day, and had my first interview with the hiring manager 8 days later. On Day 13, I interviewed at their SF headquarters with four individuals for one hour each. On Friday, exactly 14 days later, the hiring manager told me they would seek out a candidate with commercial, rather than public sector, experience. I suspect this came from their VP of sales who seemed satisfied with their system of creating proposals on Google docs. The company does not have any internal system (such as Microsoft Office Suite/SharePoint) nor any proposal software system (Qvidian/Xait/Quorus, etc.) for proposal development, much less an internal system to monitor results or house past proposals.

I applied online. Then I had one first round 30-min phone interview with one PM and two 45-min phone interviews for my second round. The interviewers were very professional. I really enjoyed the conversations. They provided me feedback after I knew the result and reached out to them. Very positive experience

2 Phone interviews and one onsite. It was a simple interview process and they move quickly if they like you. You will interview with CSO and the SDR manager. Lots of turn over, be ware.

Quick and friendly process. Had a first interview with a PM to get to know eachother, no crazy question. Two weeks after, talked to 4 other persons for the second round of interviews and got my offer at the end of this round. Got hired for a different job than the one I originally applied, more fitted to my profile.
