I was referred by an employee and promptly contacted by HR for a phone interview, which was basic and served primarily to gauge phone skills. I interviewed shortly afterward with two Advising team leads and a director of Advising, which is somewhat abnormal. The interview questions were varied, and the style was conversational, though some articulate and in-depth responses are expected. There were typically two rounds of interviews for this position (one with team leads, then one with directors), but I was hired after one interview because a director was present for mine.

Entrevista
They did not really ask any questions to get to know me or any questions regarding academic advising at that. I researched a lot about the interview process and they asked none of the questions listed by others here; or even similar questions. Just basic, odd questions; they probably are actually data analysts.
I agree with what was said by someone else on here on how a Bachelors Degree & great recommendations/references isn’t enough. So if that’s all you’re going off of; do not waste your time interviewing.
Also, if you are a non-white person of color; beware that there is no diversity here. I interviewed with up to six managers/team leads and not one of them were a person of color.
