WORST interview process I've ever been a part of. After my first interview, the hiring manager implied that the process was 'lengthy' and I should expect about '3 more interviews'. So naturally, after completing several interviews with Associates, I thought I was done. The hiring manager scheduled a 20-minute call with me, but to my surprise only asked about salary expectations. He then proceeded to schedule another call a few days later to give me examples of the types of questions I could be asking my interviewers (these calls had no value and the company took advantage of my time during a busy recruiting period). I was then scheduled for several other interviews with Spencer Stuart Consultants. Several consultants didn't even ask me any anything and just offered to answer my questions. However, after the first several interviews I had no genuine questions left. I went through 12 rounds of behavioral interviews and additional check-in calls and never heard back after the final round. A couple of weeks passed and I sent a very nice email to the hiring manager, explaining that I enjoyed meeting everyone but have decided to pursue another opportunity. Again, the hiring manager never replied.
For an executive search company, they've shown a remarkable lack of recruiting etiquette. There isn't another company in the world that would need 12 rounds to make an entry-level hiring decision.

Personal fit is everything at Spencer Stuart. I did around 7 interview rounds before getting an offer. They really try tower how you would fit into their culture. They select out people who present inauthentic. You meet multiple people from associate to partner.

Fairly straightforward. First round behavioral. Second round case study take-home that you then present and get feedback on. The third round is longer behavioral. Know why you want to be in this space and have lots of potential stories prepared for the third round behaviroal to showcase your skills.
The interview process was a great experience...thorough, engaging, and insightful. I appreciated the thoughtful questions, the opportunity to share my background, and learning more about the team and role. I did not get the role but they gave me valuable feedback.
