I applied online for the position of Sr Back End Software Engineer in Omaha Office. Recruiter Round: I got a call from the recruiter the very next day. He asked me about my background and why I am looking for a job change. He scheduled me for a phone interview with one of the chapter lead. Phone Interview: This round was around 30 min. The chapter lead asked me about my technical background and my interests. He explained about the business model and about Spreetail. It's more of knowing you better than an interview. After this interview, the recruiter sent me a requirement to build a working sample within X hours, which I need to present in the next round. Presentation: This is for about 1 hour followed by lunch with the team. During this round, I was given a tour of the building and the team working space. Then we went to a conference room where I presented the code which I wrote for the sample project. They asked me a different question regarding the code and my approach towards the code and design choices. After the interview, we went for lunch and discussed other things within the company. After 1 week I got a call from the recruiter and the next round with people and culture (HR) was scheduled. People and Culture (HR) Interview: This interview is about 10-20 min telephonic. They asked me about my previous experiences and goals in my career. They asked me apart from work what are my interests and hobbies. I got an offer the next day. I accepted it after 1 day and the paperwork is finished on the same day. Spreetail is different. It's not for everyone. They do things differently. Their approach is differnet.
