Thank you for taking the time to provide us feedback on your interview experience. We are very culture focused at Springbot starting with our interviewing and new hire process, and we also are open to helpful and productive feedback that allows us to make that a positive experience. I would like to address your feedback in three areas:
1) Our team keeps a high energy feel in our sales area which includes music and office activities, and while I understand that this style of work is not for everyone, it is very typical of high functioning sales teams.
2) Our interview process includes an initial two hour window of meetings with our sales managers. For candidates that meet our hiring criteria and sales profile, there is an advancement to a second round interview. During the second round interview, there are often meetings w/ one of our senior executives possibly including our CEO or CMO. If either our third party recruiter or our internal team miscommunicated the details, that is on us and we will certainly tighten up that aspect of the process.
3) The four sales manager you met with all started out as sales associates, were promoted to sales representatives and then eventually to sales managers. These promotions were 100% based on achieving an exceptional level of performance. Also, as the CMO of Springbot, I take issue with the assertion we have a diversity issue based solely on meeting those 4 hard working sales leaders during an initial 2 hour interview. Over half of our leadership team is female which includes myself, finance and customer success. Throughout Springbot you will find all forms of diversity well represented by our employees, managers and senior manager positions. With over 20 years experience in technology, I can assure you this is extremely uncommon in our industry. Per our core values, established by our CEO Brooks Robinson, we endeavor to celebrate what makes us unique which includes diversity of people and thought.
