Applied online and did a phone interview soon after. They asked the basic questions about employment background and then scheduled an in-person interview. The store I applied to is new and has not opened yet so they held the interviews at a hotel. The mood was mellow and there were people to help you sign in and fill out applications if you were walking into the event. You also had to fill out an availability form. Shortly after being seated I was called up by one of the interviewing managers. He was very welcoming and impressed with my resume presentation. He read over it and proceeded to ask questions about my current place of employment and would I be willing to leave if hired. He asked how much I was making at my current position and winced at the number because they weren't going to be able to pay me that much. We went on with the interview and he was really happy with my answers, experience and personality only to tell me the position was already full.

I was sent an email asking me to schedule a phone interview. I scheduled it and was called at the time I had selected. That went well, so he scheduled me for an in person interview. I recieved a text the night before asking me to confirm that I'd be there. I showed up 15 minutes early as requested only to be told that the scan coordinator position had been filled the day before. It took me an hour to get here. The position was filled. I'm livid. There was another man applying for the same position as me, he was also angry.
