Entrevista
Applied online. Received a response a month later. Met with HR for about 5 minutes, then with hiring manager and another staff member (at the same time). Tense and hostile environment. Asked me what negative things I had heard about Success and indicated that it was a critical work environment. Both interviewers indicated that they were unhappy at Success. I sent a thank you e-mail the next day and received a curt response. Seems like a difficult place to work.

A recruiting agency reached out to me regarding a position and looking back I wish I would have listened to my instinct and not moved forward. I didn’t have the right experience, the hiring manager was rude, and the agency didn’t have a good relationship with SACS and was not able to provide me with reliable updates.
After multiple rounds of interviews where they did not even try to accommodate my schedule, I was given the feedback that I don’t have the right experience which I knew. Based on the interviews I had, this organization seems to have many issues and I can imagine that the negative GlassDoor reviews are spot on. Looking back, I am grateful that I was not selected to move forward nor received an offer.
The entire process was disorganized, convoluted and frankly just a waste of my time. For anyone interviewing with the company, I would advise you to ask what the interview process is and if you don’t receive a clear answer then just know the interview team is using you to figure out what it doesn’t want.

Entrevista
The recruiter was awesome.
I found the two person panel to be pretentious and elitist. The panel were members of the leadership team.
They focus too much on minor subtle points rather than the body of work and capabilities.
This was a director position, the focus should be on industry knowledge and capabilities and being able to direct.
The panel got into microscopic nuances and weighted them heavily. I.e. they focused more on the 'cufflink' than the 'suit' in it's entirety.
Also, the panelists were not in the industry and they got tripped up on an aspect of my resume they didn't have the acumen to evaluate.
But in the end they were polite in an arrogant, condensing millennial way (very early 30s based on their LinkedIn profile) - they made you feel they were too good for you.
I learned that I was at least the 10th person interviewed. I sent a LinkedIn invite after the interview, as I do after all interviews to grow the network, and be a resource even if not hired. It went un-responded.
I didn't get an offer and that was fine by me.
It's funny, because I had another interview with another firm later in the day, 180 degree opposite - they were seasoned industry specialists, knew what to look for and ask, and very easy to be around.

The panelists were not in the industry and got tripped up on an aspect of my resume they didn't have the acumen to evaluate. So, the questions were baffling. It mirrored the cliche' "know just enough to be dangerous..." They knew just enough but didn't weight the answers appropriately. They were looking for a nat size specific example, that would exist if I were them.
