i applied for a job, i got a call, a test was given, after submitting test i was waiting for the results, when i called them back, they realized that a wrong test was given to me i took two complete days on this test, such a waste of time, even though they asked me to do the real test, i realized that they are not organized enough, i have lost the interest for working for them

After applying for the 3d texturing artist post. received a call from Hr. he/she was like "You have applied for the texturing role, so you will receive a 3d model that you have to complete by today for further assessment. " Then I received an email saying. "As per the discussion over the call, please pay close attention to test file attachment and the given guidelines. The required format to share the submission is Fbx + textures +Substance File and please keep the access of file submission - Public/Anyone. It is only for the purpose of checking your skills. We hereby confirm that we will not be using any of your test files submitted for recruitment process." I have completed the texturing process and attached the files in the format requested. A day later I received a mail saying "Our assessment team members are on leave, will come back with the results". A week later I received a mail saying "Unfortunately, you did not get selected for further consideration." I am not sure if I got scammed or if I actually didn't meet the requirement. Bcoz u don't need a "Substance file" for an assessment as long as it matches the reference. Usually Hr asks for basic details about you like your current CTC and expected CTC, etc, and then will let you know the basic details about the company.
