Phone Screen with recruiter > Phone Screen with hiring manager > On Site (2.5 hours including a 30 minute presentation) I was informed by a third party recruiter that I didn’t get the offer which would have been okay with me if more feedback was provided. All I was told was that they were looking for someone with more experience. This was frustrating since my experience level was known from the get go, yet I was pushed on in each stage of the interview process. Not to mention, the interview seemed to go well and I was told my presentation was great. There was no response from the company directly when asked to provide more feedback. It was a really disappointing experience for a candidate who was genuinely interested, studied, and put in the time to create the presentation and travel on site. Aside from the lack of communication, all other aspects (team members I interviewed with, location, and office) were great. Just felt like a huge waste of time in the end.
