My guest was upset as soon as I approached the table due to the fact they had felt they were slighted by one of our hosts'. I apologized profusely and agreed the host behavior was unacceptable. I insisted I notify my manger and asked if the guest would allow me to bring my manger over so she could rectify the situation. We resolved the issue by taking care of their drinks and appetizers.
