There were multiple rounds of interview for different teams, good technical enough. but at the end they informed the project is on hold and some other interviews for other roles with TCS never got back with response

Following the first round of interviews for a Generative AI position, I did not receive any feedback regarding my performance or selection status. Despite making several follow-up attempts through calls and emails, I was unable to obtain any updates. During the interview process, I was asked several questions and requested to submit my CV in Word format without my name. Unfortunately, after complying with these requests, I did not receive any further communication. This is very unprofessional.

Role in JD was Tech Lead and I also had a discussion with Hiring Team about the roles and Responsibilities for this job. However the interview was conducted for the role with Question typically asked to a Tech Lead. We discussed about Team Handling scenarios. However later without discussing it with me they were offering me a Consultant role with Salary which was not even matching my current salary. This resulted in the waste of time. Not to forget the tons of Documents these people ask to upload before appearing for the interview. I wonder what do they do these uploaded documents if a candidature is not moving ahead for offer acceptance or joining. Totally waste of Time. The candidates who are looking for the a career in TCS should check the role that they are applying to and what Role they have given on Offer.
