Candidatei-me online. Fui entrevistado pela Tata Consultancy Services (North America) em abr. de 2021
Entrevista
I found a job posting on LinkedIn and contacted the HR over email. Got a response the next day asking my profile and resume. Received another call from someone in the recruiting team after a week asking if I can attend the interview the next day. I agreed and got it scheduled. It was a video call on Microsoft Teams. I was interviewed by only one person. He was a senior. Asked everything that I mentioned in my resume - Previous experience, projects I worked, followed by technical questions on Java, SQL, general Software Engineering process like SDLC, scenario based questions. The whole interview went for around 1 hour and 10 minutes. He was very friendly. I would say, it felt more like a general discussion of concepts rather than a typical interview model.
I said I used Tableau for one of my academic projects. So I was asked - How did you create a Dashboard in Tableau. What can you convey using a Dashboard.

First had a technical interview with some coding questions, then the behavioral interview with general questions. Overall it was pretty good and they were very helpful throughout the process overall

The whole process took 15 days. First I received an email from a recruiter asking to fill out a form in order to determine eligibility. He set me up with an interview the next Saturday. 2nd interview was 1hr long but took less time: 30 min technical and 15 min behavioral. This round was especially easy; basic OOP questions and 2 short coding questions; behavioral round was mainly about why you're interested in the company and going over your work experience. Next step was to fill out a profile on their talent network. A week later I set up a <10 min call with HR who just asked if I'm authorized to work in the US, and told me that if I was to receive an offer, I would get one within 7 days. I got the offer that night.
