Hello, everyone. I have read so many interview experiences and it really helped me a lot. So thought of sharing mine too. I have attended Tech Mahindra off campus interview in Hyderabad in the month of October. My slot was in the morning 9 am. The selection process is as follows, 1. Written test. 2. Essay writing. 3. Technical round. 4. HR. Coming to the first round i.e written, the test consists of approx 70 questions and you will be having 50 mins of time and remember guys there is a sectional cut off so you need to attempt every question. The main key to clear written is to have grip in English because out of 6 sections, 4 are of English. So, concentrate more on English, the questions will be asked on synonyms, antonyms, fill in the blanks, finding error in sentence, passage, etc. You have to be really very fast and put correct answers. Coming to quant, there were only 11 questions and topics are averages, profit and loss, partnership, calendars, partnership. That's it. If you are perfect in these topics you can clear quant sec. And in logical, simple questions were asked like coding decoding, series, odd man out, blood relations and figures. If you clear this round, immediately you will get congratulations and next round starts. When I wrote exam only 3 members could clear this round out of 45 members and I was one of them. Coming to second round which is essay writing, 10 mins will be given to complete the essay and a picture will be displayed on the screen, you need to write essay on that. This is also an elimination round. You have to write without any spelling mistakes and grammar mistakes. Use simple english, and write meaningful essay and you can clear this round. After this round, they told us to wait in a classroom and after 2 hrs, they told selected candidates list for next round i.e technical. Most of them could clear essay writing also. So, we all went for technical round. Totally there were 40 members in first slot who got selected to technical. If you clear written, there is maximum chance to clear all the rounds. When our interview was happening all of them out of 40 mem except 2 or 3 went till HR. But, it also depends on their requirement. Can't say. Coming to technical round, you can also crack this round if you are strong in basics of C, C++ and Java. It also depends on HR. for me, as I am from CSE branch, most of the questions were asked in my mini and major projects and few basic questions in C++. It completely depends on HR, because in another cabin, questions were asked in sorting techniques, they told to write bubble sort program. So, be prepared for any question. If you are from another branch like EEE, ECE, basic questions will be asked. After 5 mins, coordinators will say whether you cleared that round or not. If you clear technical, 90% you will be selected. Last round i.e HR, normal questions will be asked. Just be confident and keep smile on your face. They will ask questions like are you willing to relocate etc questions say yes to everything and HR will say whether you are selected or not. If you get selected you will get mail in 2 weeks. Letter of intent, followed by offer letter. I have attended drive on October 7th, got mail on Oct 18th and another mail i.e joining date, etc, details were given on Oct 31. That's it guys.
