Was part of an acquisition process (We were a startup), where all software engineers needed to do an interview. Scheduled an interview with two of their engineers. I was asked to describe a little bit of my experience and then we proceeded to the coding exercise.

The process consisted of 4 rounds and spanned 3 weeks. The first was a phone screening where they asked me basic interview questions to get a feel for who I was. I was then invited to do a take home assignment as a skill assessment. The third round was 2 technical interviews (one design, one debugging). The final round was an interview with the hiring manager. The interview process was one of the most enjoyable that I have been a part of. The company was very responsive when it came to any questions or status of moving forward. All employees were delightful to interact with during the interviews and very will to assist where they could. They made it a point to convey that they valued my time as much as I valued theirs.
