I talked about my option to repeat the first year of my degree. I wasn't very well and struggled to attend lectures and so I didn't understand the content. I would've been able to pass the year but I didn't think I should as I would rather obtain better grades and a much better understanding of the first year content than just passing and "not doing it properly". He really really liked this answer and talked about how the very determined and thorough attitude was great for the company.
