I'm an amateur mechanic and carpenter so I love working with my hands. I've done everything from rebuild engines to tune up lawn mowers. Recently I built a tree fort for my kid brother out of 100% reclaimed would so the cost was in my time and the mechanical fasteners alone.

I’ve cut down a wall in my house, made it into a bar with reclaimed pallet wood.  Also hung some lights and now it’s a center piece to everyday living.   I’ve also built and sold outdoor furniture.  As well as started a side business building sliding track barn doors and installing them.  Flipped two houses, made over $171K from all of the updates in the two houses.  I love problem solving in these journeys.
