I felt like I was a number filler since many companies mandate that external candidates are interviewed even though they have someone already in mind. Applied for a position in NYC (global headquarters) but both interviews conducted from UK with a 30-minute time limit. Did not think the company was serious about my candidacy since the HR person with whom I spoke did not know the name of the healthcare provider for the US so we could not discuss coverage and was not very familiar with the workings of the US office. Second interview was with two IT people who have been with the company for less than 1 year combined (one of them just few months and never asked me a single question - just sat there looking at his monitor). It is very hard to discuss one's years or decades of experience in such a short period of time.
