Two calls, interviewer jumped straight into technical questions about mechanical eng basics such as stress strain curve. Recruiter took a while to get back to me after the interviews as well, so be sure to follow up.
two rounds of interviews both extremely technical, one being your more usual technical questions for MDE, the other being open ended and more confusing to come up with a clear solution for.

Interview was multi-stage with direct hiring manager and recruiter. Questions focused on technical knowledge for materials and mechanics. Manager stressed a workaholic attitude and no work life balance. Had no interest in candidate only in technical knowledge.
