After going through three rounds of interviews, hearing positive and promising feedback, the team failed to get back in touch. From hearing language that would insinuate I would be hired for the position to radio silence causes me to feel extremely misled. I even emailed to inquire what skills or experience could have better positioned me for the role, with no response. Overall the communication lacks and the persona doesn’t align with their actions.

Applied on Indeed. Received an invitation to interview at a location in the county. The first meeting, the interviewer asked about why I wanted to be insurance, my childhood upbringing, my parents, my family life, what motivates (the only answer they want is money). A week went by and he asked to meet again. This time there was a second person in the interview. He asked the same questions but this time he threw in a red flag - he asked about what religion I'm apart of and where do I go to church. That's a law violation and I withdrew from consideration after leaving that interview. The role is 1099, they send you to Waco for training, you come up with your own schedule. This is not a role for a young person or someone just starting in insurance. They expect you to hit the ground running after training which isn't reasonable for a new agent. Offices were extremely outdated. The atmosphere was very conservative and old-fashioned. They meet every customer in their home so you cannot make a sale over the phone. Listen very carefully during interviews and pay attention the atmosphere and people you interact.
