Management conducted two rounds of interviews. The first one was a normal interview of getting to know one another and discussing what the job entails. All was fine and no issues there.
The second interview is where things took a turn. A talk with the Assistant General Manager revealed that you weren’t actually interviewing for the job but rather a reserve pool of potential employees. They were quick to reveal that you were never actually considered for the role as they’ve already agreed on another candidate before they even got your number.
