Had a HR screen phone call which was just very basic general questions and then a few questions about why you want to work there and what makes you a good candidate. Next round was an hour-long zoom call with the hiring manager. That was mostly talking about my past experience and what kinds of technologies I used. No crazy technical questions, just testing general knowledge of data wrangling abilities. After that, two weeks went by and the HR person kept saying she was waiting to hear back from the hiring manager about a decision. On the third week since the hiring manager interview, I got a call from the HR person saying that they offered the Data Engineer position to someone else, but they wanted to offer me the Associate Data Engineer position. I requested to meet other people on the team, since I had only met with the hiring manager, and I was told that I would meet others in the third round. Also tried to negotiate on salary since it was much lower than where I was coming from. They didn't budge on the salary and told me they would only schedule the third interview if I signed the offer. They ultimately ended up rescinding the offer because I didn't sign it unless I talked with someone else on the team. Worked out because I probably would have rejected it anyways, culture fit is a big deal for me, and they just didn't check that box.
