Candidatei-me por meio de recrutador(a). O processo levou 4 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela The Trade Desk (Londres, Inglaterra) em fev. de 2018

First contacted via LinkedIn by a headhunter to setup a video call with them. Started out listening to what TTD does within the ad tech space and how the ad industry has operated through history. Apart from that I had a good amount of time to chat about my personal life. This came to about an hour.
Next I got a take home exercise that was quite fun to implement. I came from a TCL based development background previously so I thoroughly enjoyed researching about C# and the problem domain with no time limit. I got to ask questions throughout with an assigned dev from the team not just about requirement clarification but also had discussion. This was followed up with a code review where we discussed how I approached it and how we could improve it. A nice peek at how collaboration happens here.
Finally I had two video calls consecutively with the US offices going through problems and two in person at their London office an hour a piece. Each interviewer tackled a different area of core developer skills that would be used.
Overall, I found that it was quite nice to have the open ended take home task whilst working. The interviews we setup were quite flexible with my personal life being taken into account (Had holidays booked in the middle of the process). The best thing though were really the individuals giving the interviews. Apart from the questions we discussed tech the company leverages, work environment and previous places we had been at.

I applied for a SDE position in Sydney AU. Online accessed + recruiter call + 4 rounds onsite rounds. The recruiter was super efficient and professional, some interviewers were very professional and friendly, however, the hiring manager had astonishingly bad manners, he gave an ambiguous and topic and didn’t collaborate or specify what aspects to focus on, as I continued to seek clarification, he became visibly frustrated and started yelling. Would recommend the company to improve the mental maturity of this hiring manager from HK before allowing him to become an interviewer again. The hiring manager's terrible manner explains why the same job has been posted again and again on Linkedin but never been filled over the last 2 months.
