I had five interviews over a month. the 5 interviewers repeated the same questions in each of the interviews which I doubt if they ever coordinated. Most of them nice and positive. However, I had the last interview with a guy who works in another department and in the interview he kept undermining me that I didn't have enough same experience that the position demanded like "well this position wants a person who did this and that but you've never done this" But I already passed the CV screening and four other interviews...! Why you just say that in the last interview? And his interpretation of the job is very different than his colleagues' explanation which again proved the bad coordination inside the group. He also insisted that Tiktok was NOT a Chinese company but his colleagues agreed in my previous interview. Why a Chinese company cannot be a Chinese company but a French company is always a French company? I don't get where comes from his pride. Anyway, it's my WORST interview experience: long, uncoordinated, and repeating useless tours of interviews and one exceptionally arrogant interviewer.

why do you want to work in Tiktok?
What are the challenges Tiktok face in France.
They arranged 3 rounds of interviews with all team members, not the hiring manager. I felt like it was not the typical process because one of them said they were changing the direction of this role.

A really technical case and how to solve the pain point.
There are in total 4rounds including 2 rounds with senior peers and 1 round with +1 and round with HR, not that difficult. But I think the experience match is most important……..
4 interviews
- Recruiter screening
- HM interview
- Peer Interview
- Functional interview
Each round has around 45 minutes. Case and BQ are heavy, and the interviewers will leave 5-10 minutes for questions toward the end of the session
