I was asked to come in for a three hour interview that ended up being closer to four hours. I met with five people, pretty much everyone that I would being working with on a regular basis within the company. The second round consisted of a redesign project. This part of the process revealed a bit of disorganization. The company doesn't have very many designers, and for that reason is relatively new at conducting designer interviews.
I was given "very positive" feedback on my redesign as of Monday, and told that they were just waiting on more candidates, but saw that the job had been reposted and found out that they weren't "moving forward with my candidacy" by Thursday. Just seemed a little disingenuous to me. Overall a very slow moving process by New York standards.
