Don’t waste your time.
Despite the negative reviews, I decided to apply for the Product Analyst Intern position on the Courts and Justice team. The interview process itself was smooth and fairly straightforward. I had no issues with Talent Acquisition and they were responsive and professional throughout.
My concerns lie with the Product team’s decision-making and communication.
For months, I was kept in an email chain stating that my application was “still under consideration” and asking me to notify them if I was pursuing other opportunities so they could “work around that.” This strongly suggested I was a serious candidate still in contention.
However, I later learned that someone who applied weeks after me had already received an offer. That offer was ultimately declined, which made it even more confusing why I wasn’t given a direct and timely update. Instead of being transparent about moving forward with another candidate, I was left in limbo from November 2025 until the end of February 2026, when I finally received a rejection.
During that time, the role continued to be reposted. As a candidate, that was frustrating to see while still being told I was under consideration. A straightforward decision, even if it was a rejection, would have demonstrated far more professionalism and respect for applicants’ time.
Based on this experience, I would hesitate to pursue opportunities with a team that struggles with meeting deadlines and timely decision-making as it would only ruin my morale and to be content with mediocrity. Candidates deserve transparency, accountability, and follow-through.
