Very HR driven for first component, prior to first interview.
There were two interviews, one 1:1 and one group with three managers.
People appeared tense, perhaps due to the economic climate and the recession.
I would advice future candidates to check the background and management member profiles of the respective department that they would be joining, since as per most large companies, the politics may vary.

The interview at UBS for an IT Manager role, but it did not go as expected. The questions were not particularly technical or IT-focused, leaning more toward generic management topics. This left little room to demonstrate my technical expertise, making the experience somewhat disappointing.

It is very tough process, you need to know your subject very well.You need to make very good impression otherwise you wont get the job. The job will look difficult in the offer however it is pretty straight forward.
Communication with your colleague is important , you need to fit to the team.
You need a good people to people skill , if you are not very positive and dynamic the job will not be offered.
