I applied on Avue at the time and got a call. Went up to the station and PT'd with the crew then got to meet superintendent and crew leaders. I got and interview with all the leadership present. It was a good experience overall.

Nearly nonexistent. Some coworkers were hired without an interview. If you want this job and you meet the qualifications you will get it. Job will be almost all grunt work and cleaning. Do not listen to grand promises.

Zoom interview with two Forest Service employees. They were not from the location I was applying for. They had the usual interview questions and I was offered the job about a month later.

fast paced, lots of multiple part questions. Remote interview that was part of screening many candidates in a short period of time. They were asking tricky questions to weed out people fast.
