      Entrevista

      After applying, I heard back quickly via email about setting up a phone interview. The process for setting up the interview was seamless and they offered a variety of time slots. When I spoke with the recruiter on the phone, it was very impersonal - I had tried to be open minded after reading reviews but most were accurate. After a 15 minute conversation, the recruiter said the next step was a creative project. The project was multiple steps and after starting the project and working through most of it, I decided to not continue with the process. I did not finish the project because I realized I didn't value their interview process and after reading many other reviews, don't think it fair to provide them with 8 pages of ideas that I most likely would not have been able to implement. The recruiter just kept repeating that they work 90 hour weeks and that work life balance wasn't common. Coming from the sports industry, I understand long work weeks and I explained that on the phone but the recruiter just kept saying it was going to be very stressful. I'm not sure if this is done to scare people off or if they are the company that likes to brag about how much they work but that type of atmosphere/attitude was alarming from the get-go. The interview questions could not have been more generic. While it was only a screening phone call, I didn't like that it went from a short conversation to a large project - seems as if that should have been further along in the process.

      The project included 3 parts and requires an extensive amount of details and work. Be very interested and committed to spending the time on the project - don't waste your time if you are on the fence about working for the organization.
