Heard back from Unified Social fairly quickly after submitting my resume, and I know these things tend to take time but this appeared to be a company that was on top of things...at first. I heard from a recruiter and was asked to schedule for a phone screening which was then scheduled for almost a week after this first contact email. The person I was to speak to seemed really friendly and cool, so much so that I was a lot less nervous than I had been for previous phone screenings in the past. We had a quicker conversation than scheduled for however, about 15/20 minutes v.s. 30 minutes, because he had other things come up (which he informed me about from the start). The unfortunate part about that was that I wasn't able to ask questions that I had, although he did a great job explaining the role and the company itself.
Although I believe the initial conversation went well, and while I tried to make it clear that I understood the requirements, I did not hear back from Unified. I contacted the recruiter for a follow up about a week later, to see if the position had been filled or if I should expect anything else, but did not get a reply. I wasn't expecting a reply just because I thought it went well, but if it hadn't or if they just weren't going to proceed with me, that would be something any job seeker would appreciate knowing.
