I received UPs Hiring Session E-mail last night while at work, but was unable to access the link on my Mobile Device and was unable to access a PC until I returned home. Upon arriving home, I expeditiously attempted to sign up online for the session, but was unable. So, I immediately notified Director HR Customer Services of this leaving them a voicemail. This morning I contacted the other H.R. phone # listed on the E-mail for the Service Center. They happily offered to fix the problem, but noticed the seats were full. They advised me to contact Director HR Customer Services and explain what happened and if there was a way to get into the session OR if they would open another session. I left two voicemails: one on office and one on cell phones.
Within 24hrs the problem was rectified. Now awaiting the hiring session...

Entrevista
Very involved process, three panel interview with manager, potential trainer, and a potential supervisor. The interview went very well. Received the offer and went through the background check process. After going through that process and then going through the training, the trainer was not a good trainer at all.

Entrevista
I was scheduled for a video interview....nobody showed up to interview me. After contacting the company they scheduled another video interview for me, then cancelled it and replaced it with a phone interview. During the phone interview, the recruiter let it slip that all the spots had already been filled.
I expected better than this from UNP.

Entrevista
The hiring process was pretty easy for me. I was interviewed once by an HR supervisor and was given an offer. I think it might be a little easier for people having to relocate as in my case. The other apprentice dispatchers I heard had to go through 2 or 3 panel interviews. The hiring process is also competitive.
