Candidatei-me online. Fui entrevistado pela Uniqlo (Hanoi) em mai. de 2017
Entrevista
My interview was in Hanoi. The process has totally 4 steps:
Step 1: CV screening
Step 2: Face-to-face interview with UNIQLO representative from Japan (15 minutes)
Step 3: 2-day factory visit (in Hai Duong and Bac Giang) and group discussion in the second day (20 minutes to discuss a case in English, 5 minutes to present in English). In each factory you visited, you will have a factory tour with factory representatives and UNIQLO representatives.
Step 4: Face-to-face interview. If you are in Hanoi, you will have to fly to HCM City (The flight ticket is on UNIQLO)
The Factory visit was on Wednesday and they said that the result of round 3 will be announced two days later, which is on Friday morning by email. It is 10pm Friday now and I haven't received any email so I guess I didn't get to the next round. It is depressing as hell.
For the Factory visit, I am not sure what they are looking for in each candidate. However, there are a lot of Q&A sessions during and after each factory tour. After each person ask a question (you can ask more than 1 question), UNIQLO representative will write something in their books, but I don't know what is inside their books. Also, in the group discussion, one UNIQLO representative will be near your group to listen and again write something in their books.
The starting salary is 12 million VND with a very clear career path and international training. Not sure they will support relocation for candidates from Hanoi or not.
Good luck guys!
P/s: I also overheard that UNIQLO prefer fresh graduates with no experience to train them to do exactly what they are told to do. I applied with 1 year experience.
